As from Saturday February 14 at 9 AM, Rock Werchter tickets will be available by telephone, SMS and through the internet via Proximus Go For Music and Tele Ticket Service.

Public transport is included in the ticket price (including one-day tickets). Between Thursday July 2 2008 and Monday July 6 2008, your festival ticket is valid on NMBS trains for one round trip in second class from every Belgian railway station to Leuven (and vice versa) (not valid on Thalys, Eurostar, TGV en ICE trains), AND valid on De Lijn buses between Leuven station and the terminal of De Lijn in Werchter (valid only on special festival buses, not on other lines!!!). Keep in mind that camp-site tickets are not valid for using the above-mentioned means of transport.
People traveling from abroad to Rock Werchter should book a train ticket to and from the first Belgian station after the border, since, within Belgium, the festival pass will enable them to travel to and from Leuven for free. So an international train ticket to and from this first Belgian station is still required.

Important: E-festivaltickets are not valid for use on trains and buses as such. Each e-festival ticket does entitle its holder to one free E-TRAIN TICKET (available as from the start of June from www.nmbs.be/rockwerchter by using the NMBS code mentioned on your e-festival ticket.

Just like previous years, a camp-site ticket needs to be purchased in order to stay at one of the festival’s camping facilities. Camp-site tickets cost 17 Euros (booking/shipping cost not included), regardless of the length of your stay. Camp sites will be open from Thursday 2 July till Monday 6 July in the afternoon. Please bear in mind that Werchter’s camping facilities will not be open on Wednesday evening. So there is no way for visitors to pitch their tents that evening! Rock Werchters’ camping facilities are run by local associations and not by the festival organisers.

The beverage tickets are again available on presale this year. A beverage ticket costs 2.25 Euros if bought in advance. During the festival, a beverage ticket will cost 2.5 Euros.

Beverage tickets are pre-sold in the guise of ‘drink vouchers’. These vouchers come with a unique bar code, which is scanned at the beverage ticket outlets on the festival ground, after which the buyer is given the required number of tickets.

There is no discount for children under 12. That may sound kind of rude, but we will not do it, since Rock Werchter is not a festival for children. But all the more for youngsters! So there is no need for a nursery.
